Customer Reviews. Kodak PlaySport (Zx5) HD Waterproof Pocket Video Camera - Black (2nd Generation) I ordered this for a beach trip and because my wife is pregnant with our first child. It was between the ZX5 and the Flip. I am glad I got the ZX5! First, it's waterproof! It was great at the beach, didn't have to worry about it getting wet. It's also shockproof, which is great for my wife and soon to be child. I have had no issues with the video. It is *crystal* clear. Sound is very good as well. I have not hooked it up to my HDTV yet, but importing it on my 21" iMac was a breeze and it looked terrific. I am using a 16gb class 10 transcend card purchased on amazon. I have had no issues with that either. I also just 'tried' a class 4 4gb from my digital camera (Nikon D40) and it worked flawlessly as well.

My only complaint is with the one-step sharing software from Kodak. I guess if you are using a PC, it would make sense, but with iLife on the Mac (iMovie), it is sooooo much better and faster and just all around easier to import/edit/share. I uninstalled the Kodak software from my Mac. Oh, and there is new firmware out on the Kodak website, so maybe the people with problems need to upgrade their firmware! Would definitely recommend.
